Experiences:-

• Minimum 5 years of driving experience with Ambulance/Medium vehicle. Working for a humanitarian/non-profit-making organization is preferable.

• Bangladeshi driving license with light vehicle.

• Medium/Heavy vehicle license will get preference.

• Excellent driving skills including 4X4 handling skills.

• Able to work independently and as part of the team.

• Exceptional level of patience and able to work long hours.

• Basic mechanical skills will add extra preference.

• Sensitive to cultural, religious, political and regional issues.

• Good mental and physical health.

• Ability to maintain accurate log records.

• Good time keeping.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implementation of preventative and curative maintenance of ambulance to maximize the fleet capacity.

• Cleaning and sanitizing ambulance daily.

• Keep proper tracking of ambulance servicing & Preventative maintenance.

• Driving the seriously ill and injured patients to the hospital.

• Providing first aid care and administering oxygen if needed.

• Working in collaboration with the Paramedic, Nurses and Emergency Medical team.

• Checking the medical inventory in the Vehicle and restocking them as and when required.

• Changing the stretcher’s linen after every use.

• Cleaning and sanitizing the ambulance.

• Disposing of the contaminated medical waste.

• Maintaining daily entries in the Vehicle logbook.

• Ensuring the safety of the Ambulance and reporting the faults at the earliest.

• Regular follow up and timely inform to the supervisor about the routine maintenance of the Ambulance.

• Carry out any other duties that may arise from time to time and assigned by the supervisor.
