Job Responsibilities:
∎ Project planning, scheduling and monitoring for set up facilities and deployment of available resources to achieve organizational objectives.
∎ Preparing and checking technical specification, inquiry document, data sheets and basic drawing for fix equipment.
∎ Endorsement of basic technical data sheets and specifications.
∎ Vendor proposal review and technical assistance of ordering and inspections of required fix equipment.
∎ Check and review of the vendors drawing, calculation and documents for various mechanical fix equipment’s in Dredger projects and liaison with vendors during different stage of the projects.
∎ Prepare or assist in the preparation of the projects cost estimates and schedules for mechanical equipment accounts for bids and proposal work for shipyard plant.
∎ Technical bid evaluation (TBD)
∎ Producing projected related correspondence and reports.
∎ Solving the equipment’s installation problems at site.
∎ Prepared spare parts for a yearly Maintenance program for all Equipment.
∎ Preventive maintenance of all Equipment in dredger Plant.
∎ Prepared details of installation procedure and manpower schedule.
∎ Auto CAD drafting of steel structure, mechanical parts and piping project.
∎ ERECTION, INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING:
∎ Installation of Pump, Motor, Caterpillars Engine, Gantry crane, cooler Fans, Spud for cutter suction dredger.
∎ Erection & Installation of House boat, work boat for cutter suction dredger
∎ Integral piping & single point contact for discharge pipe from depth of water and water lines.
∎ Ensuring the Quality of Erection.
∎ Refractory and Insulation application of the above.
∎ Planning Material Handling activities to facilitate the erection.
∎ Verification and approval of contractor’s bills.
