∎ We are looking for an experienced Distribution Center Manager, New Verticals to oversee and scale the distribution network in Bangladesh for our Groceries business. You will wear many hats - meticulous planning to launch distribution centers, instill operational efficiency in processes, maintenance of warehouses and above all, be a strong leader driving the business forward across the country. The DC manager will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the Distribution Center.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Receiving the DC In-bound consignments daily from vendors and managing the barcode stickering on products as per WMS software.
∎ System in-bound within 2 hours of receiving a product.
∎ Managing the category wise products storage inside DC following the QA guidelines.
∎ Palletization or racking of products as per category maintaining FIFO/FEFO rules as per policy.
∎ Cycle count random and 100% at month end with stock reconciliation.
∎ Managing the DC outbound operations daily for all the D’marts within Dhaka or outside Dhaka as per daily Stock transfer plan given by DP team.
∎ Regular basis DC near expiry report circulation with actions taken to avoid shrinkage/write off.
∎ Stock return receive from D’marts for expired and damaged stocks with proper counting and explanations.
∎ Managing the 3P transport vendors for outbound stock transfers and follow up.
∎ Managing the private labels products packaging process by daily output check and process improvements.
∎ Managing the DC overall operational and transport budget with regular tracking and follow up.
∎ Managing a large team for seamless distribution operations
Additional Requirements:
∎ Expertise in warehousing management
∎ Experience leading 3PL partners in FMCG or direct experience as 3PL for FMCG is desired
∎ Ability to work independently and efficiently, across geographic and language barriers
∎ Self-starter and independent learner focused on finding solutions
∎ Ambitious, self-driven and highly motivated individual who can work well in a startup.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills to enable solution identification and drive implementation across the organization
∎ Ability to use data in all decision making clear argument based on cost benefit analysis
