Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 15 years of professional experience in relevant fields bilateral chamber/German organization is preferred.
∎ Strong language proficiency in German and English
∎ An in-depth understanding of the Bangladesh-German as well as international business environments and EU regulations.
∎ Event and Programs require a flexible work schedule and willingness to work extended hours
∎ Previous experience with managing the visiting German Government/EU Trade Teams
∎ Strong networking record with German/EU authorities and trade bodies
∎ Presentable and capable of working under time pressure
∎ Excellent proficiency in computer literacy is required

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Germany is the 2nd largest export destination of Bangladesh. The Bangladesh German Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BGCCI) is the largest bilateral chamber in the country and promoting bilateral trade between Germany and Bangladesh. To improve the services and to enhance bilateral trade and expand cooperation with Germany BGCCI require a Director for Bilateral Trade and investment.
