Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management/Masters of Arts (MA) in Supply Chain Management
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: PGD in Supply Chain Management

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee the Procurement of all civil, mechanical, electrical & electronics items and spare parts as per the requirement of Mining operation and production plan and in other units of the project.
∎ Continuously developing a pool of good vendors for various groups of items and building a long term sustainable relationship with them.
∎ Negotiating with the vendors and finalizing the terms and conditions for performance guarantee, supervise services, shipment, payments, etc.
∎ To maintain liaison with the Mining Production in connection with requisition, supply of goods / materials in time.
∎ To conduct market survey on regular basis.
∎ Developing proper MIS for monitoring & control of all indents, Purchase orders, supplier performance, and circulating the same on regular basis.
∎ Work in close association with the top Management and the foreign experts.
∎ Responsible for carrying out all official/business correspondence in English like writing letters, official memos, meeting minutes, etc.
∎ Work closely with the functions of the respective govt. store team, Engineering, Finance, Security and production.
∎ To keep records of all parameters in production process.
∎ Oversee the daily warehouse operations Coordinate the end-to-end warehouse processes, from inbound management to stock handling, storing, and order dispatching on a timely basis. Have strong knowledge of inventory management and reporting.
∎ Ensure periodical stock takes are carried out and noted down accurately Effectively ensure that the implementation of policies, procedures and work standards are met
∎ To take the responsibility of Productivity Improvement in all aspect of production processes.
∎ To ensure proper storage of materials & goods to the selected places.
∎ Assist in achieving production target of Production team according to the production plan.
∎ To assign and control the responsibilities of subordinates.
∎ Doing any other duties assigned by the management
∎ Monitor and develop existing supply chain process;
∎ Maintain keep liaison with local supplier;
∎ To work on sourcing, vendor development, conduct negotiation meeting for purchases quality materials with competitive price;
∎ To finalize Procurement Plan within estimated time frame;
∎ Ensure the materials are bought at the most competitive price and delivered on time for production;
∎ Establish strategic relationships with key suppliers who are aligned with the company's needs;
∎ Coordinate, supervise and evaluate all procurement activities consulting with the Management;
∎ Perform procurement activities such as sourcing of quotations, price negotiations, preparing comparative statement, negotiating with actual vendors and placing the order through the authority's approval.
∎ Foreign Procurement:
∎ Ensure preparing all import documents on time.
∎ Applicant must be fluent in English speaking to communicate with foreign supplier(s)/buyer(s) or through their local agent(s).
∎ Handle Shipping line and transport-related concern authorities for smooth and timely delivery of goods and execution of import procedures.
∎ Developments, Maintenance & upgrade database of sourcing and updating existing supplier information.
∎ Liaison with Bank related to L/C and Payment issue and other organization related to import documentation.
∎ Applicant should be sound knowledge on L/C process & Amendment and checking LC terms and conditions.
∎ Identify suitable suppliers and Price negotiate for the best value without compromising the quality & specifications.
∎ Work with internal departments and suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of raw materials and accessories (Import).
∎ Supervise all kind of work related with C & F agent and insurance through L/C process.
∎ Liaison with project related to Customs VAT adjustment of raw materials.
∎ Experienced in ERP system operation for the group import raw materials.
∎ Communicate with parties in a contract so that all understand the terms, particularly a contract's financial aspects;
∎ Update information of market, price of material, new development of product and alternate sources.
∎ Follow up Procurement to Payment Process (P2P) in concept of Procurement Policy
∎ Maintain & update all SCM reports to concerns Department.
∎ Any other task assigns by the Management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ More than 10 years of experience in the field of local and foreign procurement.
∎ Experience in the field of Mine or project in both local & foreign procurements will get preference.
∎ Well communicative skill both in Bengali & English Language.
∎ Should possess Management skills.
∎ Should be results oriented, analytical, time bound & able to work in pressure
