∎ Substation Designing Experience is mandatory

∎ Working knowledge of Primary plant, Protection & Automation and Telecommunication Engineering
∎ Working knowledge of commercial / contracting requirements
∎ Significant experience in HV substation engineering environment - including project scope and specification development
∎ Significant experience successfully delivering engineering outcomes using project
∎ management tools, systems and processes
∎ Well-developed analytical, investigation and problem solving skills
∎ Demonstrated ability to produce the high quality engineering reports
∎ Advanced knowledge and experience in use of Microsoft Office suite of products
∎ Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills including the ability to build collaborative and productive relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and constructively challenge the status quo
∎ Highly developed written and oral communication skills, including demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills;
∎ Demonstrated ability to act decisively and initiate timely action to overcome difficult problems.
∎ Capable of working under pressure to meet project deadlines;
∎ Strong knowledge of HV, substation and transmission performance and operation, National Electricity Rules, Transmission Codes and relevant standards (desirable).
