∎ Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Plantation Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
∎ 5–10 years of experience in plantation management, preferably in tea estates.
∎ Proven leadership and staff management experience.
∎ Knowledge of modern agricultural practices, pest control, and estate machinery

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supervise all plantation activities including plucking, pruning, weeding, manuring, and pest control.
∎ Lead and manage a large workforce, including supervisors and field workers; ensure labor welfare and adherence to labor laws.
∎ Monitor crop quality, coordinate with factory operations (if integrated), and ensure consistency in tea leaf quality and yield. Prepare and manage budgets for estate activities; implement cost-effective farming methods.
∎ Ensure environmental sustainability through responsible farming practices; maintain compliance with health, safety, and agricultural standards.
∎ Oversee the maintenance of estate machinery, vehicles, irrigation systems, and infrastructure.
∎ Maintain accurate records of yield, labor usage, rainfall, pesticide use, and financials; prepare reports for management.
∎ Foster positive relationships with local communities and stakeholders.
