Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a Civil Engineer, who graduated from a reputed university and is a senior, and has project execution experience with QS knowledge.
∎ The person is responsible for striving to develop and maintain a productive committed workforce. Lead and manage Planning & Monitoring operations in a disciplined and effective manner. Provide guidance to the designated team to ensure that policies and guidelines are compiled in Project Control functions related to major Material Reconciliation and Cost Engineering and other related activities.
∎ Candidate must have the mindset to visit the project sites for work purposes as and when required by the Supervisor/Management. We are doing many mega govt projects in different locations of the country like - Railway Project, Bridge Project, Power Plant, Nuclear Power Plant and etc.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Cost Planning & Monitoring -
∎ Coordination, Follow-up and provide necessary support to project for Budget preparation.
∎ Line Up the budget and implement necessary rectifications for better traceability.
∎ Coordinate with Project team for presentation to the Management for availing final approval.
∎ Implementation of Budget into ERP.
∎ Coordination with Project QS, Accountant, ERP on Budget monitoring.
∎ Coordination and communication with other Functional leads for successful
∎ implementation of cost control measures.
∎ Review of Equipment and Labor productivity reports. Further communication with project team about the overall scenario.
∎ Guide and lead the team of employee for analysis of Cost parameters (planned vs. actual) with identification of reasons/obstacles/constraints.
∎ Coordination with project team for preparation of project Cashflow projection.
∎ Regular review of project cost performance reports.
∎ Provide inputs for project cost and productivity optimization, analyze unit rate breakdowns of subcontractors and suppliers, participate in resource cost bench-marking.
∎ Material Reconciliation -
∎ Coordination with project surveyors for monthly stock recording and estimation of physical stock.
∎ Follow up with Inventory for vetting against physical stock.
∎ Coordination with project nominated person for preparation of Recon statement.
∎ In case of any anomalies in the report (Recon report or Inventory vs Physical stock) attempt to do in depth review and root cause analysis.
∎ C.Site visit -
∎ For understanding of project status, problems and correlate to Project control team with Project team.
∎ Monthly Progress Review-
∎ Coordination with projects and different functional departments for conducting Monthly Progress Review to the Top Management.
∎ E.Miscellaneous issues -
∎ Coordination with Software and MIS team for various modules development, related to project management, budget, costing, etc.
∎ Coordination with Inventory for implementing standard processes; follow up on data anomalies found during various analyses (cost and recon).
