Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies for both local and international sourcing, aligning with the company’s overall goals.
∎ Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.
∎ Foreign Purchase: Oversee the procurement process for foreign goods, including handling import/export procedures, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance.
∎ Local Purchase: Manage the procurement process for local suppliers, ensuring that all products and services meet the company's requirements and quality standards.
∎ Cost Control & Budgeting: Monitor procurement expenses and develop cost-saving initiatives while ensuring the quality of goods and services purchased.
∎ Inventory Management: Work closely with the inventory team to ensure timely replenishment of stock and avoid shortages.
∎ Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
∎ Market Analysis: Keep abreast of market trends, new suppliers, and changing regulations in both local and international procurement environments.
∎ Team Collaboration: Coordinate with internal departments (finance, logistics, production) to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of goods and services.
