Monitor and ensure on-time delivery (OTD) of imported materials in line with production schedules to prevent material shortages and production disruptions.

Ensure timely creation of Purchase Orders (POs), receipt of Proforma Invoices (PIs), Letter of Credit (LC) opening, freight forwarder bookings, and bank document endorsements to avoid shipment delays.

Track and close shipment IDs in the IFS system, ensuring accurate and timely updates on shipment status.

Manage import-related banking activities and ensure timely submission of Bills of Entry to Bangladesh Bank in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Monitor and reduce freight charges, demurrage, handling fees, and other incidental import expenses to improve cost efficiency.

Evaluate the performance of C&F agents, transport providers, and freight forwarders twice a year to ensure service quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with agreed standards.

Review and submit freight forwarder, transport, and C&F bills to Finance within the prescribed SOP timelines to facilitate accurate and timely payments.
