Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Graduation in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: SCM
∎ Skills Required: Good at communication, Local and Foreign Purchase, Procurement, supply chain management
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
feed Mill Operation, Purchase/ Procurement
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) on procurement operations and ensure executions of such SOP. Audit frequently the processes & systems and ensures corrective actions are taken.
∎ Creating policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation.
∎ Inventory Analysis and Planning including budgeting of purchase functions. Develop and manage purchasing budgets and forecasts.
∎ Manage end to end supply chain planning from all Domestic & International vendors, suppliers or manufacturers.
∎ Managing overall direction, coordination and evaluation of procurement for the organization
∎ Oversee and supervise coordination activity with cross functional departments, i.e. - Logistics, Store and Operations to manage the entire inventory requirements.
∎ Oversee operations and daily activities of the purchasing department. Assigning responsibilities and over-viewing the team performance.
∎ Build, lead, manage and develop an effective procurement team. Set and monitor goals, targets and objectives for a team of sourcing and procurement professionals with an aim toward elevating overall performance.
∎ Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors. Assessment of vendor performance data on various performance metrics for sustainable supply and cost improvement.
∎ Formulate & ensure implementation of effective & efficient Procurement Strategy for Purchase.
∎ Direct continuous improvement of purchasing processes in line with changing organizational needs and market conditions.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ The applicant must have work experience in Procurement Department of large scale commercial Feed Mill (Poultry, fish, cattle feed production).
Salary: Negotiable
