Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain liaison with local, civil administration and maintain public relation with local elites political and non-political about the matters related to factory.
∎ Liaison with related concern like BGMEA, compliance auditors, Fire & Civil Defense, Labor Office, Labor Court, Police Station etc.
∎ Sound knowledge in BEPZA regulations.
∎ Formulate employee motivation factors, counseling, grievance and labor handling, conflict management etc.
∎ Increase employee motivation through creative, Idea to have brighter productivity.
∎ To implement all labor laws and to deal with personnel and labor matters.
∎ To apply modern management methods and techniques for efficient management for the Corporation and the Enterprise through efficient personnel management.
∎ Ensure Access/Right to Inspection during buyer's Audits.
∎ Follow up / take instant corrective action on auditors certain minor findings /discrepancies during audit.
∎ Follow up that all corrective action has been taken/follow up regularly as per CAP submitted/ given.
∎ Take proper and immediate steps to improve factory conditions those will get object of non-compliance from buyers and take all possible steps to adhere with buyer's compliance inspection.
∎ Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
∎ Provide day to day administration and support services to the employees relating to Safety, Security, Health, and House Keeping.
∎ Maintain the procedure of disciplinary action, resignation, dismissal, discharge and termination procedure and records.
∎ Proper handling of resigned or termination cases as per policy and rules in time.
∎ Develop & implement performance appraisal policy and overall training.
∎ Perform any other work as assigned by the management from time to time
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Sound knowledge on ACCORD, ALLIANCE, SEDEX, BSCI, WRAP, Factories Act, Fire prevention and Fire Fighting law relevant to Garments sector.
∎ Those who are working on large Garments industry in EPZ as DGM/GM, Admin & Compliance would be given priority
∎ Good team player, well-organized, initiative and detail-oriented
∎ Ability to effectively communicate and correspond with the concern department.
∎ Needs to have considerable knowledge/ understanding of Admin & Compliance.
∎ Leadership ability to motivate the team-mates and a team player.
∎ Responsible to lead and manage all Admin in & Compliance responsibilities of the factory.
∎ The candidate should have practical working experience according to EPZ rules and should have sufficient knowledge on labor law 2006 & amendment in 2015/2018.
