Responsibilities & Context
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy General Manager / Assistant General Manager - Quality for Textile / Fabric in a Knit Composite Textile Factory.
Job location will be Zamgora, Ashulia, Savar.
Develop, implement, and maintain effective Quality Assurance (QA) policies, procedures, and systems across the textile manufacturing process.
Lead and supervise the entire Quality Assurance Department to ensure consistent product quality.
Monitor and control quality at every stage of production, including raw materials, processing, finishing, and final inspection.
Establish quality standards, inspection procedures, and quality control guidelines in accordance with buyer requirements.
Ensure proper fabric inspection, testing, shade matching, shrinkage, color fastness, and other quality parameters.
Identify quality-related issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Coordinate with Production, Dyeing, Finishing, Merchandising, and other departments to minimize quality defects.
Ensure compliance with international quality standards, buyer requirements, and company quality policies.
Analyze quality performance reports, identify improvement areas, and take necessary initiatives to reduce rejection and rework.
Conduct regular quality audits and ensure continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing process.
Develop and train the QA team to improve technical knowledge, efficiency, and performance.
Prepare and submit regular quality performance reports to top management.
Perform any other tasks as assigned by the management.
