Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in Supply Chain Management and/or Information Management/Technologies Management. Engineering back ground is preferred.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure proper planning and implementation for annual procurement requirements to enable timely procurement at Dhaka or branch level.
∎ Ensure that all procurement is undertaken promptly, professionally and transparently in a cost effective manner and supplies delivered on time, while maintaining all requirement documentation throughout the process.
∎ Ensure staff members understand and implement the procurement and logistics policies and procedures through orientation, training and ongoing feedback to staff members
∎ Ensure that procurement records are updated regularly, all reports are prepared on time and shared with relevant staff, preserving all documents for future reference
∎ Good knowledge in modern ERP implementation and product coding, updating etc.
∎ Should have excellent knowledge of maintaining policy and compliance
∎ Knowledge of project management and quality assurance
∎ Proactively provide high quality and effective support and resourcing services to staff of the hospital
∎ Performance management and staff development

Additional Requirements:
∎ Ten (10) years of progressively professional experience in the field of Supply Chain Management in reputed organizations. Proven track record of success in a leadership role.
∎ Working experience in hospital is preferred
∎ Clear understanding on procurement compliance & audit.
∎ Good knowledge on local and international markets and laws related to supply of goods and services.
∎ Conversant with contract/agreement negotiation and management.
∎ Adequate knowledge of VAT, Customs, L/C Opening, Insurance etc.
∎ Excellent communication (written and oral) and relationship management skills.
∎ Should have staff supervision and development skill.
∎ Good communication and report writing skill.
∎ Computer literacy & expertise in software handling is a must for the post. EXCEL is necessary.
∎ Maintain liaison with senior management of the hospital.
