Job Responsibilities:
∎ Drive overall depot functions e.g. distribution, logistics, transportation, collection and store management as well as security of depot
∎ Able to use computer to monitor stock levels, order and re-order of goods when necessary, and track the movement of goods/vehicle.
∎ Execute delivery of OPL products timely & effectively according to the orders procured by sales colleagues and collect money as per invoice and receive incoming materials as per challan.
∎ Execute and exercise sales on COD (Cash on Delivery) basis. Credit sales shall only be exercised subject to approval from concerned management.
∎ Ensure that inventory flow is maintained strictly following Batch Tracking, First Expiry First Out (FEFO) and Fist In First Out (FIFO) basis to ensure batch traceability.
∎ Ensure proper inventory management at Depot by controlling stock movement as per ERP documents at all the time.
∎ Liaison with Central Distribution, Sales and Accounts department effectively.
∎ Develop and confirm distribution schedules and routes on monthly basis. Prepare manpower planning, shift arrangement and duty roster for efficient operation.
∎ Maintain petty cash, Attendance Register, Leave Register, Stock Register and Vehicle Log Book.
∎ Utilize all resources incl. human (DA, SIC, Computer Operator, driver etc.) and other logistics efficiently & effectively
∎ Check daily remittance (Sales proceeds) report for ensuring timely collection & deposit to Company Bank Account.
∎ Monitor movement of all categories of inbound and outbound Logistics/Transportation/Distribution operations.
∎ Ensure proper checking of depot-wise various operational expense vouchers, like delivery van operational bill, delivery expense bill of Delivery Assistants'
∎ Keep petty cash safe, secured and separate from sales proceeds and coordinate for timely reimbursement of petty cash. Keep record of all expenses e.g. advance to DA/Driver etc.
∎ Organize replacement of non-conforming products periodically.
∎ Communicate & coordinate with associates of other departments/functions. E.g. marketing, sales, IT, finance, accounts etc.
∎ Generate reports daily/weekly/fortnightly/monthly on the basis of requirements by the management or associates of other functions like marketing & sales.
∎ Keep records (hard copy/softcopy) of all important files/policies/circulars/communications etc. for future reference
∎ Ensure all activities complying the OPL policy, requirements, standards, guidelines, SOPs and relevant local laws of regulatory.
∎ Perform any other assignments given by the supervisor/management
