∎ B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering from any reputed University.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Database Administrator (DBA)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To install, configure, and continuously optimize Oracle, MSSql and MySQL database instances.
∎ To perform day-to-day management, patching, maintenance, and backup of all databases.
∎ To provide 24/7 troubleshooting and support on a demand basis.
∎ To ensure systems remain secure and are continuously running effectively and meet SLA requirements.
∎ To participate in upgrades and configuration modifications on the production systems.
∎ To develop scripts and create reports for database health monitoring and usage metrics analysis.
∎ To define, document, and deploy configuration management, disaster recovery, and other key operations processes.
∎ To drive a total automation philosophy to efficiently and effectively achieve high level of reliability, availability, scalability, security, and performance.
∎ To identify and raise to management, database vulnerabilities threat could be exploited by an attacker.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Strong experience with MySQL, Oracle and MS SQL.
∎ Database and schema design - support / working with application development team.
∎ Experience in developing database applications PL/SQL packages, functions, procedures and complex SQL.
∎ Focus on writing, troubleshooting and optimizing SQL codes.
∎ Architect, Configure, Install, Upgrade oracle database.
∎ Platform Migration from one version to another or one OS to another OS.
∎ Implement High Availability systems like Oracle RAC, Active Data Guard, Golden Gate.
∎ Setup Database backup/recovery tools like RMAN in Disk or Tape
∎ Performance database tuning and all aspects of components.
∎ Configure/design Oracle 12c and 19c database on Exadata and ODA.
∎ Troubleshooting, installation, upgrade, performance tuning and scripting.
∎ Experience in Oracle Enterprise Manager.
