Job Context:

∎ Reports to: Configuration Manager
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Report Writer will coordinate, develop and support data for new and existing ERP / CRM applications.
∎ Providing reports and report writing through various applications to improve business processes.
∎ Collaborating with team members and clients for the purpose of collecting data building business intelligence dashboards.
∎ Analyzing business requirements/processes and making recommendations to the product team for implementation.
∎ Creating and maintaining documentation that includes the design, requirements, and user manuals for the Analytics Product.
∎ Identifying development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability.
∎ Gather business intelligence from a variety of sources including customer interviews, company data, industry and field reports, public information, or purchased sources.
∎ Report writing and associated tasks using various tools including Power BI, and SQL.
∎ Building and maintaining data cubes from the database for non-relational data.
∎ Identifies markets for future product development and methods to improve sales of existing products by analyzing technology trends.
∎ Maintains current knowledge of industry and business trends through communication with professional organizations, suppliers, customers, competitors, and other informed individuals.
∎ Performs other related duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Report writing and associated tasks using various tools including Power BI, and SQL.
∎ Great verbal and written communication skills.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
∎ Microsoft Power BI or Tableau experience is a plus.
∎ Experience in embedded PowerBI deployments is an asset.
∎ Knowledge of SQL Databases.
∎ Knowledge of ETL processes.
∎ Ability to collect and compile relevant data.
∎ Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
∎ Strong business analysis skills.
∎ Works well independently and as part of a team.
∎ Thorough understanding of the company's business processes and the industry at large.
∎ Ability to handle databases and understand technology-driven business intelligence tools.
∎ College degree in technology is a plus.
∎ Experience in equipment industry is a plus.
∎ Experience with ERP systems and CRM is a plus.
∎ Must be personable and comfortable interacting with employees and customers. Ability to multitask, compartmentalize, and prioritize according to need.
