Education:
∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
∎ BSc in IPE/ BBA/MBA from Reputed IBA, Professional degree on Supply chain Management and Training on Commercial and Logistic will be preferred.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure full compliance Gildan policy and procedure as Per Yarn and Fabric procurement procedure.
∎ To ensure that all purchase orders are reviewed to confirm compliance with our instructions so that our obligations and commitments can still be achieved.
∎ To accurately define specification requirements in consultation with appropriate departments, then seek out potential suppliers to meet those requirements on specification, quality, delivery and price.
∎ To ensure that up-to-date information is provided on product availability, delivery times or product assembly when requested.
∎ To coordinate the Yarn stock as per the MRP system.
∎ To source/procure specials request on a daily basis from details provided by internal customer.
∎ To reduce surplus stock in inventory categories where possible.
∎ To have an understanding of the minimum/maximum stock levels.
∎ Ensure suppliers adhere to price and delivery promises.
∎ Calculating the Total Cost of Acquisition (TCA) in order to ensure best transaction in every procurement Decision.
∎ Coordinate overall yarn and fabric Procurement activities complying with the Gildan Code of Ethics Guideline.
∎ Performing of Yarn and Fabric Procurement in a timely and courteous manner.
∎ Coordinating with suppliers to collect quotation, negotiate & make Purchase order in JDE, PI Collection, L/C opening follow up with Commercial Department. Scheduling and controlling delivery considering capacity.
∎ Responsible for researching potential suppliers and managing suppliers for a particular item(s). Meets with suppliers, ensures quality standards, and works to reduce long term costs. Develop Contingency planning for each item.
∎ Build and maintain good business relation with the suppliers and standardize the Supply chain process.
∎ Perform any other functional activities indicated by immediate supervisor.
