Job Context:
∎ First Dhaka Elevated Expressway (FDEE) Is Bangladesh’s First Elevated Expressway Project, Which Will Connect The Shahjalal Airport With Kutubkhali Via Mohakhali, Tejgaon And Kamalapur Of Dhaka. It Is One Of The Largest Infrastructure Projects Taken Up By The Incumbent Government To Ease Traffic Congestion In The Capital.
∎ This Project required 6 no`s Control Room Operators for the operations.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Central Control Room Operator shall ensure that the patrol officers, perform their duties as described in the respective procedural manuals.
∎ Receive and log requests for assistance and other calls from all sources.
∎ Identify the type and nature of incident or emergency.
∎ Initiate the appropriate response according to the procedures Co-ordinate the traffic management and fire service resources at emergency scenes until recovery to normality.
∎ Ensure that all Control Room equipment is fully functional
∎ Ensure that all equipment diagnostic functions are carried out
∎ Monitor the activities of the route patrol officers
∎ Ensure that reports submitted by the Route Patrol officers are complete. Maintain a filing system for all documentation received and generated
∎ Copy and distribute the damage reports to the maintenance department.
∎ Ensure a clean and orderly workspace.
∎ Maintaining all Incident/accident records, received from Patrol officers as well as from road users
∎ Instructing ambulance/crane operator in case of emergency
∎ Arranging external help if required (Police, Fire brigade, ambulance etc.)
∎ Always be in touch with Patrol officer Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
∎ Knowledge of job site safety practices required.
∎ Providing directions and road information to road users.
∎ Informing motorists of accidents on the road ahead.
∎ Reporting dangerous and illegal road users.
∎ Dispose of trash, ensure clearness.
∎ Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
∎ Knowledge of accident rescue management.
∎ Be familiar with the location of local hospitals, fire and traffic police.
∎ Quickly gather summary information and issue instructions.
∎ Good knowledge of monitoring and management.
∎ Knowledge of security systems and surveillance equipment.
∎ Skill in dealing effectively with a wide variety of personalities while enforcing policies and regulations.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Ability to work alone for long periods.
∎ Willingness to work for night shifts too.
∎ Good interpersonal skills.
∎ Knowledge of national roadways.
∎ Fluent in English reading, and writing .
∎ Able to use computer and have working knowledge of MS /Excel office.
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage relationship with maturity, Excellent Relationship building skills.
∎ Ability to adjust to rapidly changing personnel, work, and environmental conditions and react accordingly.
∎ Ability to analyze problems, develops alternate courses of action, and employ or recommend employment of a solution.
∎ Work with small team and coach and mentor them.
∎ Well versed in computer knowledge and Internet.
