Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
∎ MBBS with MD/M. Phil or other BMDC recognized professional qualification in Transfusion Medicine.

∎ Job Location: Impulse Hospital, Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Clinical responsibilities include reporting on Blood group discrepancies, Antibody Identification work ups, positive DAT and antibody titres, and Transfusion reaction workups.
∎ Donor unit responsibilities including Donor eligibility and counselling, reporting on abnormal donor marker testing and antibodies.
∎ Support and advise clinical staff to help them choose the correct tests.
∎ Educate colleagues in the use and limitations of each diagnostic investigation.
∎ Supervise and teach phlebotomists, technologists and medical staff, depending on your post.
∎ Carry out research and keep up to date with new information relevant to your field.
∎ Use medical equipment and computerized systems to perform various lab tests.
∎ They should also be up-to-date with the latest laboratory technology.
∎ Log data from lab tests and enter results in patient's record.
∎ Discuss the results of the lab tests with respective consultants or doctors.

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Hospital and clinic
∎ Must be Computer skill especially in MS Word and MS Excel.
∎ Must have excellent communication skill both in Bengali and in English.
