∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
∎ Minimum requirement Post graduate diploma in clinical pathology. Candidates with degrees like MCPS, M.Phil, MD, etc can also apply.
∎ Minimum 3 years practical experience in a hospital laboratory as full time pathologist
∎ Willing to work in a team in hospital setup
∎ Committed to serve poor community patients

Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Responsible for day-to-day functioning of KCH Laboratory with quality services ensured for the patients in line with the requirement of KCH hospital OPD and in-patients.
∎ Supervise and guide the relevant staff in their daily duties and check/monitor all the tests being done by them with timely delivery of high quality and timely reports
∎ Personally perform special investigations hematological, bio-chemistry and serological as well as microscopy regularly and as required and arrange checking and cross-checking for quality assurance
∎ Make sure that all tests being done in KCH are delivered with his approval and signature
∎ Perform/support blood transfusion for patients by ensuring that screening tests, cross-matching, etc. are done as per the existing policies and practices of the hospital
∎ Ensure keeping of records of all laboratory tests being performed everyday and preparation of monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual reports as required by hospital or donor
∎ Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of laboratory apparatus and instruments
∎ Ensure that the continuous quality control measures are constantly taken for purpose of high output and patients’ satisfaction.
∎ Teach laboratory students & fellow colleagues
∎ Perform any other duties as and when necessary
