Job Context:
∎ RTM International is going to appoint a Consultant - Obs. and Gynae to provide Sexual and Reproductive Health Services in Bhasanchar. The required qualification and experiences for the position is given below:
∎ Employment Status: Short term contract
∎ Work Place Govt. 20 Bed hospital, Bhasan Char.
∎ Job Location: Noakhali, Bhasanchar,
Job Responsibilities:
∎ In collaboration & under the direction of Sr. Project Manager, the Consultant - Obs. and Gynae. will:
∎ Provide obstetric and gynaecological services including emergency obstetric care and caesarean sections at Govt. 20-bed Hospital, Bashan Char, Hatia, Noakhali.
∎ Taking decisions regarding referral of the individual patient to the higher-level facility.
∎ Provide technical assistance to the SRH services in Govt. 20-bed Hospital, Bashan Char, Hatia, Noakhali.
∎ Work in close coordination with the Medical Officer of RTM at Govt. 20-bed Hospital & Coordination Officer, Bashan Char, Hatia, Noakhali.
∎ Organize Continuous Medical Education (CME) for the staff working in Govt. 20-bed Hospital, Bashan Char, Hatia, Noakhali.
∎ Submit monthly performance report/special report to the Project Manager and Coordination Officer RTM International, Bashan Char, Hatia, Noakhali.
∎ Conduct/participate in medical audits relating to maternal mortality/complication.
∎ Provide telephonic guidance for emergency patients when sought by the RTM International staff at 20-Bed Hospital Bashan Char, Hatia, Noakhali.
∎ Work in coordination with the RTM Dhaka-based Technical Officer, Project Coordinator, and the focal (technical) persons of UNFPA.
∎ Provide support in identifying and conducting technical training and capacity-building activities.
∎ Any other responsibility assigned by the authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 40 years
∎ Minimum 2-year(s) hand on experience in the related field
∎ Following capabilities are mandatory:
∎ Working experience at Rohingya refugee camp will be an additional qualification.
∎ Good communication skills in both English and Bangla.
