∎ FCPS /MD / DA

Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide overall management of patients in intensive care and other areas of the hospital as required.
∎ Implement decisions on patient care that are taken by consultants.
∎ Provide supervision, teaching and support to medical officers and nurses.
∎ Formulate plans of management and coordinate appropriate consultation with other specialties.
∎ Select and arrange appropriate investigations.
∎ Ensure appropriate documentation occurs in the patient’s clinical record including a discharge summary upon transferring care to another provider.
∎ Actively participate in quality improvement activities such as audit and peer review, patient safety initiatives and reporting of clinical incidents.
∎ Participate in the teaching and research activities of the clinical unit.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ 3 – 5 years’ experience in ICU.
