Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Diagnosis and treatment of all cases pertaining to their specialty and must be available to examine and consultant/advice on any particular case, if requested, by any of his/her colleagues;
∎ To prescribe medicines within the selected companies;
∎ Call when required other specialists to help in arriving at a correct decision in making a diagnosis and charting out the treatment;
∎ Make regular ward rounds along with other doctors of the units as per the procedure of the hospital and ensure proper patient care by the staff concerned;
∎ Declaring a patient “seriously ill” when the necessity arises and for making an endorsement in the case sheet as well as notifying the Ward in charge;
∎ Endorsing in the case sheet the type of diet required;
∎ Conduct regular outpatient clinics on respective days and ensure proper out patient care;
∎ Attend promptly to actually ill patient make arrangements for immediate admission;
∎ Ensure that the general duty Doctors maintain patients’ records correctly and take proper care of the patients;
∎ Instruct and guide general duty Doctors and technicians under them in the proper medical techniques and treatment;
∎ Attend all emergency calls as necessary;
∎ Be involved in the teaching program of the Nursing Institute / Hospital if required;
∎ Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
∎ CSS is a humanitarian and socio-economic development organization that has been operating in Bangladesh since 1972. Within the Health Sector, CSS manages the Reverend Abdul Wadud Memorial Hospital (RAWMH), a 100-bedded general hospital located at Tilok, Rupsha, Khulna. The hospital provides comprehensive healthcare services including Eye, Mother & Child, Dental, ENT, Orthopedic, and General units. We are seeking qualified and experienced candidate for the position of "Consultant-ENT” in this hospital.
