BioMed is an international medical network headquartered in Germany, with a regional hub in Pattaya, Thailand. We are now opening BioMed Bangladesh in Dhaka, bringing our connected model of care to the country for the first time, and we’re building the founding clinical team to lead it.

What we do:

BioMed is a multidisciplinary health hub providing holistic approaches to treating various ailments. Each patient’s case is looked at as a whole, and their care is brought together into a single, personalized plan that is reviewed and adjusted over time.

Our Clinical Focus:

• Longevity and regeneration: helping patients stay healthier for longer through preventive assessments, hormonal health, cellular health and supplement plans, and regenerative and stem cell–based therapies. These are offered responsibly, with clear guidance on what the evidence supports.

• Sexual health: private, judgment-free care for men and women, covering erectile dysfunction, ejaculatory concerns, low testosterone and libido, pelvic health, pain and intimate wellness. It combines medical treatment, pelvic floor therapy and psychosexual counselling.

• Fertility: assessment and treatment for women, men and couples, from first investigations and lifestyle and nutrition support through to IVF. It is coordinated with our international network in Germany and Thailand when needed.

Job Context

Biomed Bangladesh, a healthcare and wellness organization, is seeking qualified and experienced Consultant Doctors across multiple specialties to join its growing medical team. Successful candidates will provide professional consultations, clinical assessments, treatment recommendations, and patient-centered care in accordance with their respective qualifications and areas of expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct professional patient consultations, clinical examinations, medical assessments, and history-taking according to the consultant’s respective field of expertise.

• Evaluate patients’ health conditions, identify potential medical concerns, and recommend appropriate treatment plans based on clinical findings.

• Prescribe medications, recommend diagnostic tests, review investigation reports, and arrange specialist referrals when clinically necessary.

• Explain diagnoses, available treatment options, potential risks, expected outcomes, and follow-up requirements to patients.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, consultation notes, prescriptions, treatment plans, and medical documentation.

• Ensure informed consent is obtained before relevant examinations, investigations, and medical procedures.

• Maintain high standards of medical ethics, patient confidentiality, clinical professionalism, and patient-centered care.

• Collaborate with other consultants and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient management and continuity of care.

• Identify patients requiring emergency medical attention or advanced treatment and facilitate timely referrals to appropriate healthcare facilities.

• Follow applicable medical guidelines, infection prevention protocols, clinical procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements in Bangladesh.

• Participate in clinical discussions, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and service delivery.

• Maintain scheduled consultation hours and comply with the organization’s clinical policies, professional standards, and reporting requirements.
