Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implementation & Management of Field Level Activities-70%
∎ Ensure the implementation of all activities of the project and manage those
∎ Arrange Patient Screening Programme at the community level
∎ Provide eye care service for the poor patient during PSP
∎ Arrange motivational sessions for patients
∎ Take initiatives to sign MoU with eye care hospital
∎ Take necessary initiatives for a cataract operation for the project participant
∎ Post-operative follow up of the patient
∎ Refer complicated patient to Govt. hospital
∎ Distribute spectacles for the patients after the operation
∎ Advocacy, Networking, and Communication-10%
∎ Create linkages with health service providers and eye care hospitals
∎ Create linkages with Local Government Institutes (LGIs - Union Parishad) and Upazila administration to arrange PSP and other activities of the community
∎ Establish networking with LGIs, GO bodies, NGOs and facilitate to create of a link among our project participants their facilities
∎ Reporting and Documentation-10%
∎ Ensure accurate record-keeping and systematic documentation & filing;
∎ Provide information for monthly, interim and final reports;
∎ Collect case stories from the field;
∎ Document lesson learnings and best practices
∎ Materials Development-5%
∎ Develop leaflet and other materials to arrange PSP
∎ Develop module for a motivational session
∎ Others-5%
∎ Responsible for following all the IR (Islamic Relief’s) policies including the HR, Finance, Child Protection & Safeguarding, Safety and Security, health guidelines, etc and also encourage other relevant people to comply with those
∎ Review the existing guideline and add new ones as necessary regularly to ensure compliance with legislation or where desirable as good practice.
∎ Responsible for seasonal (Ramadan & Qurbani) & emergency response programs if require.
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
∎ Being a member of Islamic Relief as a child-friendly organization, it is the core responsibility and obligation of each staff member to understand and obey IR Child Protection & PSEA policy and respond accordingly as and when required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in working with EYE & Health Related activities
∎ Working knowledge of Microsoft Word/ Excel/PowerPoint/Adobe Photoshop/ Basic Internet/ etc.
∎ Excellent Reading/Writing/Speaking/Listening skills for English & Bengali
