Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must be well experienced in commercial procurement (SKD, CKD Export and Import, trade operation, C&F, Freight forwarder dealings).
∎ Responsible for the preparation and process of the PURCHASE ORDER and open Letter of credit / TT.
∎ Place order file with all Source Documents to Finance Dept. for collecting the LC open application FORM & the details information regarding Interest rate, discounting bank, LIBOR rate etc.
∎ After performing the LC/TT from the Bank's need for timely Input of LC /TT details (Data Entry) in the Oracle system, the assigned purchase officer will hand over the LC/TT file to team data entry within one working day after swift LC/remit TT amount. Genuine difficulties may consider.
∎ Maintain order follow-up with suppliers & among the teams for each individual LC/TT.
∎ Place shipment booking to an enlisted freight forwarder (Mode: Sea, Air & Road) & monitor shipment updates with freight forwarder & suppliers/vendors.
∎ Confirm all shipping documentation in compliance manner as per LC terms & conditions.
∎ Minimize Landed cost & Financing cost. Unless genuine difficulties avoid the unnecessary port & shipping line demurrage for individual shipments.
∎ Make sure arrive all shipping documents at LC-issued bank before arrival the sea cargo in Bangladeshi ports.
∎ Keep continuous communication with all concerned dept. regard commodities shipment status, vessel position & tracking, berthing, container discharges & examine, customs work progress & aiming delivery date to factory side from the port.
∎ Maintain & update Import purchasing records/data and pricing in the software system for LC / TT entry, Shipment Entry, chargeable Import Duties, etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 32 years
∎ Possess good interpersonal skills.
∎ Relationships management with all enlisted overseas suppliers & new vendor sourcing.
∎ Based on necessity maintaining continuous Rolling forecast of Raw Materials with suppliers.
∎ Update the price list with appropriate incoterms.
∎ Managing a cost-effective and transparent manner in line with company policies.
