Job Context:
∎ Bangla Cars is one of the leading automobile manufacturers of Bangladesh. We are looking for a "Commercial Manager" who is dedicated, intelligent and expert in this area.
∎ Job Location: Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Candidate should have verse knowledge & experience of L.C. documentation, Import & Export procedure, Banking part on commercial issue, Customs, VAT, C&F, Insurance, MOU, Contracts & Agreement, H.,S. Code etc.
∎ Sound knowledge in spare parts of Automobile.
∎ Candidate should have strong negotiation, bargaining & assertive leadership skills.
∎ Candidates to possess hands on expertise in handling managerial task & sub-ordinates with excellent communication skills, creating conducive working environment to achieve company objectives.
∎ Candidates working in manufacturing organization will be an added advantage.
∎ Good communication skills in Bengali & English.
∎ Must have adequate computer literacy.
∎ Communicate with Bank for LC and other relevant Issues.
∎ Prepare the import & export plan with the store and procurement team.
∎ Negotiate with forwarding agents for the freight related issue.
∎ Track and monitor all incoming shipments.
∎ Analyze cost for each item and report to Management.
∎ Keep record of all cost related issues and report to Management.
∎ All export/ import documents preparation, submission & monitoring with shipping line, freight forwarder and C&F person.
∎ Maintaining constant liaison with L/C opening bank, supplier, C&F agent for smooth import & deliver
∎ Must have adequate knowledge on HS code, Customs Act, Import- Export Policy,
∎ Bond formalities and other related laws applicable for import & export.
∎ Capable to handle local & foreign import of automobile materials and all related documentation.
∎ Liaison with Bank, C&F Agents and other organizations related to import documentation special focus on customs rules & regulations related to import.
∎ To ensure all commercial activities and understanding of documents. (e.g. PI collection, L/C Open, L/C amendment, L/C retirement, and conditions according to Bangladesh Bank rules & regulations, shipment conditions, communication with parties & custom house etc.
∎ Sound knowledge of corporate banking related to project loan, working capital loan and others banking activity and international trade transactions involving Letters of Credit, import bills, INCO Terms, loan account reconciliation and the standard banking terms available for the industry in Bangladesh.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the management time to time.

∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 5 year(s) of experience in Commercial Department in any reputed organizations.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s) : Import, Communication, Documentation, LC, C&F, Freight etc.
∎ The applicants should have experience in automobile sector.
∎ Retired Bank Officers will get preference.
