Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure compliance to the termed Vision and Mission statements, goals, objectives, and values of the Company.
∎ To carry out professional Physiotherapist duties as delegated by HOS (Exact duties will normally vary on a rotational basis but every effort will be taken to follow stated CPD needs and objectives of individual staff).
∎ Conduct comprehensive physical assessments of patients to determine their needs
∎ Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, manual therapy, and electrotherapy.
∎ Educate patients and their families about their condition and treatment plan.
∎ Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide a coordinated plan of care for patients.
∎ Appropriate professional assessment, care, and attention is given to all patients.
∎ To maintain internationally recognized standards of Physiotherapy practice.
∎ Appropriate treatment database, records, confidentiality are maintained.
∎ Recording of any incident/accident involving patient or family member under the care of Physiotherapist.
∎ To record any faults in any equipment / machine in the equipment faulty report book and ensure appropriate action is taken and followed up.
∎ To be committed to continuing personal professional development to ensure the entire above are properly carried out to the highest professional standards.
∎ Ensure to actively participate in all quality initiatives and activities by the Company.
∎ To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of my own work, including the management of patients.
∎ To undertake an assessment of patients, using clinical reasoning skills and manual assessment techniques to provide a physiotherapy diagnosis of their condition.
∎ With appropriate support, to formulate prognosis and recommend best course of the intervention, developing discharge plans.
∎ Delegated responsibility from senior colleagues for managing and treating patients with particular conditions within each rotation.
∎ Attain competencies for the safe use of all equipment and techniques before use.
∎ Further instruction by the Top Management of SFMMKPJSH&NC or KPJ as a whole.
