Job Context:
∎ Commencement of job: After Two weeks
∎ Name of Project: Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP)
∎ Reporting to: Site Project Head & HO Project Team
∎ Project duration: 03 Months (Will extended subject to project completion)
∎ Location: Gazaria & Munshiganj, Bangladesh

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Civil Engineer shall be responsible for site quality, quantity verification & over all monitoring, documentation of the process in accordance with contract specifications, documents deviations from the contracts and provide plans to rectify contract deviations. Following will be key responsibilities:
∎ Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance to relevant codes, standards, and regulations, specifications, and QMS requirements;
∎ Check and adopt the various Grades of Concrete Mix Design and ensures the Concrete performances in line with relevant Standards;
∎ Witness the routine field and lab tests and ensure the test results confirming with the Design requirements;
∎ Ensure and confirm the finishing of concrete structure with high quality standards;
∎ Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system and recommend improvements when required;
∎ Prepare and issue Audit/QC reports noting system non-conformances (NCR's) and verifying effective corrective/ preventive actions;
∎ Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals.
∎ Responsibility for the performance of all inspections and testing activities as defined by contract;
∎ Oversee the Site Quality activities and support the site Team time to time as per the direction of Management;
∎ Provide early warning against changes in design or BOQ required based on site conditions needing amendment to the contractors work orders;

Additional Requirements:
∎ The Civil Graduate Engineer has to be a minimum of 10 years' experienced in the field of Civil works for Industrial Projects.
