Key Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function, including accounting, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

• Deliver accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and performance analysis.

• Oversee cash flow, working capital, revenue, expenses, and financial risk.

• Develop and maintain effective internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with applicable tax, statutory, audit, and regulatory requirements in Bangladesh.

• Advise the General Manager and department heads on financial performance, cost management, and business decisions.

• Evaluate investment proposals and support strategic planning and long-term financial objectives.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.

• Present financial results, forecasts, and recommendations to senior management and ownership.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized university.

• A professional accounting qualification, such as CA, ACCA,CMA,CFA or CPA. Candidates should clearly state their qualification and membership status.

• At least 10–15 years of progressive finance experience, including substantial experience as a Finance Director or in a comparable senior finance leadership role. Experience in the hotel or hospitality sector is strongly preferred. Experience in Bangladesh, an internationally branded hotel, or a multi-property environment will be an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash and working-capital management, and internal controls.

• Practical knowledge of Bangladesh’s tax, VAT, company, and statutory reporting requirements, together with familiarity with IFRS.

• Proven ability to advise operational leaders and turn financial analysis into clear, practical recommendations.

• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills, with a high standard of integrity and professional judgment.
