Cook – Job Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a wide variety of foods following recipes and food safety standards.
Ensure meals are prepared on time and meet quality standards in taste, presentation, and portion size.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including utensils, equipment, and food storage areas.
Monitor food inventory and notify the manager of shortages or expired items.
Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to improve food service and menu offerings.
Adjust cooking based on customer requests (e.g., allergies, dietary restrictions).
Clean workstations and assist with dishwashing duties when required.
