Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Engineering (MEngg) in Marine Engineering, Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Marine Engineering
∎ Master Mariner CC1
∎ Maritime Academy / University Degree in Shipping.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 12 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): chartering, Marine Engineering, Operation, Shipping Logistic

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for all aspects of vessel chartering activities (From the very beginning of vessel loading to final discharge at different discharge point from lighter ships.
∎ Proper lighter ships allocation & management as per scheduled shipment.
∎ Liaise with operations (Internal) on all parameters of the voyage to ensure smooth execution.
∎ Accountability for all negotiations and terms for booked cargoes.
∎ Keep current and strictly implement procedures for executing fixtures / monitoring vessel performances / explain underlying variances.
∎ Managed/operated vessels, time charter in tonnage.
∎ Calculate voyage estimates.
∎ In conjunction with accounts and operations ensure that final freight payments and demurrage are received within time limit of the completion of discharge.
∎ Develop and implement marketing and chartering strategies to provide integrated services that meets clients' requirements and provide sustainable income/growth for the company.
∎ Conduct background checks on charters and/or owners to ensure conformity with company standards.
∎ Prepare regular and periodic reports.
∎ Assist in organizing operational matters or activities as and when required.
∎ Any other activities assigned by the management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Vessel captain with chartering experience will get preference.
∎ Good knowledge of shipping operations, bookings and rate structures or chartering/shipping/port operations, charter parties and charter freight conditions.

Salary:
∎ Negotiable
