Job Responsibilities:
∎ Knowledge of food hygiene practices and relevant Occupational Safety and Health Regulations.
∎ Skills and experience in the management of a Factory canteen.
∎ Skills and experience in coordinating and supervising staff.
∎ Well-developed organizational skills and the ability to plan and deliver a high standard of food delivery practice.
∎ Well-developed written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external clients.
∎ Knowledge of the sanitation and safety requirements of a food service facility.
∎ Knowledge of methods, materials, and appliances used in food preparation and service.
∎ Knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures for cooking utensils and crookeries
∎ Ability to plan, organize, and oversee the work of canteen supporting staff.
∎ Ability to maintain an inventory of supplies.
∎ Ability to understand and prepare records and reports.
∎ Ability to operate and maintain food preparation equipment.
