Job Context:
∎ The Calibration Sales Engineer is responsible for the acquisition of new accounts, through pro-active search for new accounts through in-depth research and shortlisting managing, as well as maintaining and growing existing accounts, whether they be inquiries by email or phone calls. The Calibration Sales Engineer follows and achieves department’s sales KPI on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Calibration Sales & Service Engineer answers inquiries from new clients, received through phone calls and company email. Ensuring all clients calls, email and personal inquiries are promptly and efficiently handled to achieve targets and objectives by maximizing sales opportunities.
∎ Does prospecting and qualifying of sales leads, sends letters of introduction and makes sales calls and sales presentations to shortlisted leads and previous customers that are already non-producing.
∎ Sells calibration, Validation & Inspection services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
∎ Visits clients in order to understand their calibration, Validation & Inspection requirements and sends a quotation for the calibration services required.
∎ Shares client’s calibration requirements and needs with Calibration, Validation Department, Accounting and Admin in order to complete the calibration, Validation & inspection services and produce the calibration certificate with the client.
∎ Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities and service improvements.
∎ Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
∎ Maintains quality service by replying to all emails within 2 hours upon receiving them while always establishing and enforcing organization standards.
∎ Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
∎ Coordinates with their Sales Coordinators when required in order to complete quotations and to ensure PO are received and acknowledged when out for client visit.
∎ Follow and achieve department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
∎ Follows departments price list and adhering to the mark ups according to company policy.
∎ Checks with Sales Manager and / or General Manager when there is pricing request which are not found in the set price list.
∎ Coordinates with Operations Team to ensure on time processing of customer requests.
∎ Proactively calls client’s to follow-up on quotations which have been sent out which have not been closed.
∎ In charge of getting new leads through research online and use of local directories from Chambers of Commerce or SEC, or the like.
∎ Shortlists leads through phone calls or through an email to introduce and determine whether the organization or company has any requirements.
∎ Make company visits to shortlisted accounts, discussing the services offered by the company.
∎ Should there be credit lines requested by the client, the Sales Engineer seeks the Credit Information form, shares it with the client, then collects all requirements stated in the form and shares it with the Accounting Department for approval
∎ Coordinates with the dispatch team on all delivery of products when needed.
∎ Prepares and submits sales reports as directed by Management.
∎ Performs other duties and assignments required by Management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 45 years
∎ Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
∎ Basic math skills.
∎ Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
∎ Track record of meeting and over-achieving sales quota
∎ Solid communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
∎ Strong listening skills: active listening; appreciate context of business travelers experience
∎ Good prospecting, presentation and negotiation skills.
∎ Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications.
∎ Knowledge of Salesforce CRM will be a plus (but not a requirement).
∎ Can anticipate customer needs – displays several skills as applicable e.g., empathy, proactive recommendations, urgency etc.; can establish and maintain customer relationships.
