Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a B.Sc. Engineer (Mechanical) for the design of molds and dies.
∎ Job Location: Energypac Engineering Ltd. Factory, Savar

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Interfaces with design engineers and process engineers on understanding and determining requirements of machined, molded and cast parts and assemblies
∎ Determines material selection, sizing, etc. based on identified design specifications
∎ Design & Simulate high quality, high precision mold tools and prototypes
∎ Document mold design through drawings and CAD models and plastic injection molding software
∎ Oversee mold development as performed by mold making team to meet production schedules and objectives

Additional Requirements:
∎ 1-2 years' experience in mold and dies design.
∎ Strong 3D CAD skills
∎ Possess a deep technical mastery of Manufacturing Processes and Tooling (Mold, Die, Gauge, Jig & Fixture)
∎ Understanding common mechanical functions including hydraulics, pneumatics, electronic instrumentation
∎ Ability to research problems, develop solutions and present possible solutions for implementation
∎ Ability to work successfully under pressure of tight timelines and frequent changes to a heavy workload
