Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform complex structural designs and prepare plan details, estimates, and specifications for bridges, walls, culverts and other roadway related structures.
∎ Perform structural analyses and studies and prepare written reports or technical memos with findings and recommendations.
∎ Provide quality control and assurance of designs, plans, specifications and cost estimates, and other engineering documents.
∎ Perform bridge live load rating analysis and load upgrade design.
∎ Preparing construction drawings and designs for bridges, including plans for piers, abutments, and approaches
∎ Inspecting bridges to determine their structural integrity and recommending repairs
∎ Estimating material costs to build a bridge, including materials such as concrete, steel, and timber
∎ Performing engineering calculations and analyses using computer models or spreadsheets to determine loads on bridge components
∎ Inspecting bridges during construction to ensure that they are being built according to approved plans and specifications
∎ Working with architects and contractors to ensure that all aspects of a project are completed on time and within budget
∎ Evaluating the environmental impact of proposed projects
∎ Monitoring construction progress and issuing progress reports to clients
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Design experience of major civil engineering structures
∎ Detailed understanding of the design process and interfacing with multiple disciplines
∎ Good knowledge of structural mechanics and fundamental engineering principles
∎ A dedication to good quality engineering
∎ Ability to think creatively and solve structural engineering problems quickly and efficiently
Salary:
∎ Tk. 70000 - 100000 (Monthly)
∎ As per company policy
