Job Context:
∎ To ensure that all maintenance and repair services of bio-medical equipment in the Hospital are carried out efficiently.
∎ Ensure all Departmental and Hospital policies and procedures are carried out in the right spirit.
∎ Ensure that the end-users are fully trained on equipment in their possession.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To support the Nursing and other Clinical staff in the operation of electro-medical equipment.
∎ To provide basic front line service support and minor corrective maintenance on the electro-medical equipment.
∎ To participate in scheduling the maintenance program of electro-medical equipment.
∎ To perform Planned Preventive Maintenance of selected electro-medical equipment.
∎ To liaise closely with supplier or contractor on work is coordinating and spare part sourcing.
∎ To supervise the work conducted by the Contractor/Supplier.
∎ To perform routine Bio-medical jobs during the odd hour's shift as instructed by the Manager of Bio-medical Services.
∎ To ensure that all Departmental and Hospital policies and procedures are complied with and carried out correctly.
∎ Fully receptive and supportive in the activities that contribute towards continuous improvement Biomedical Maintenance services e.g. Quality Assurance and Fire and Safety Programme.
∎ To perform any other duties as and when required by superior.
∎ To train the end-user on the correct procedure of operating, handling and maintaining equipment.
