Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science/ MS on Biomedical Science or Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Mechanical engineering from any recognized university with minimum second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in academic examinations. No 3rd division/ class or below CGPA is acceptable.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Hospital
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare design, installation and maintenance of medical devices such as computed Radiography (X-ray) and GeneXpert machineries
∎ Ensure the safety of laboratory environment and equipment used for diagnosis, treatment and monitoring
∎ Adapt/ adjust computer hardware or software for health care applications (Molecular systems that assist in diagnosing diseases, medical imaging systems)
∎ Oversee the laboratory equipment for Identification of problems at operation sites and take necessary measures to resolve it
∎ Provide advice about the purchase and installation of new equipment
∎ Prepare laboratory operational plan of National Tuberculosis Control Programme (NTP)
∎ Assist in scaling up of new diagnostic sites under TB Control Programme
∎ Maintain liaisons with CDC Consultant, Divisional Consultant and other Govt. staff under NTP
∎ Any other job as assigned by the management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ knowledge on physical phenomenon (sound, radiation, magnetism) with electronic processing and analysis
∎ Have knowledge on data collection and data analysis
∎ Supportive attitude towards processes of strengthening staff capacity
∎ Ability to undertake regular field visits and interact with different stakeholders
∎ Have functioning knowledge on Microsoft office package
