Educational Requirements:
∎ BSc in Engineering from any reputable university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Providing technical support and expertise to onboard technical teams to ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations of the fishing vessels.
∎ Inspecting the vessels to ensure safety and technical aspects of applicable regulatory compliances for operating fishing vessels.
∎ Reviewing and validating vessels' requisitions and bills of procured stores and work.
∎ Half-yearly and yearly performance appraisal of technical teams to ensure the development of human capital resources.
∎ Supervising the execution of maintenance, troubleshooting, and development works.
∎ Ensuring technical aspects of all classification and other certificates are in place.
∎ Identifying scope and taking initiative to implement development work on the fishing vessels to overcome existing limitations, improve fishing performance, improve efficiency, and reduce cost without affecting performance.
∎ Ensuring the ships are always in good working condition, ready to be chartered at any time within their technical capabilities.
∎ Planning, estimating, executing, and proper documenting all expenses related to the maintenance, troubleshooting, docking, overhauling, and development works of the vessels.
∎ To prepare annual repairing and maintenance schedule, budget, and ensure execution as planned.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 32 years
∎ Experience in sea fishing vessel is preferred
