Responsibilities & Context:
Prepare accurate 2D technical drawings, shop drawings, and production drawings using AutoCAD.
Develop detailed drawings for metal furniture, fixtures, display units, and other manufacturing products.
Convert design concepts into production-ready technical drawings with proper dimensions, measurements, and specifications.
Prepare CNC-ready drawings and files according to machine and production requirements.
Create and modify CNC cutting layouts, nesting, tool paths, and machining files as required.
Ensure proper dimensions, tolerances, cutting paths, holes, bends, and material specifications in production drawings.
Coordinate with the Design, Production, Mechanical, and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
Review drawings before production to minimize cutting errors, material wastage, and production mistakes.
Modify existing drawings based on design changes, client requirements, and production feedback.
Prepare DXF/DWG and other required file formats for CNC machines and production.
Optimize CNC layouts and nesting to improve material utilization and reduce wastage.
Maintain and organize CAD drawings, CNC files, revisions, and technical documentation.
Support the production team during CNC cutting and manufacturing when technical clarification is required.
Follow company standards for drawing formats, file naming, revisions, and documentation.
