Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg), Masters in Engineering (MEngg)
∎ BSC in Industrial Production & Engineering
∎ Any diploma or professional degree on supply chain or commercial activities will be given preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 6 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Commercial and Banking, supply chain management
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Open Letter of Credit, Manage Shipping line, dealing with banking and insurance company, handing C&F agent, ICD, Carrying Company.
∎ Monitoring consumption and balance status of Raw materials spare parts, capital machinery.
∎ Overall responsible for Local and imported Raw material, Spare parts, Capital machineries.
∎ Preparing procurement plan of all materials to be imported and procured.
∎ Follow up, checking the L/C and give final consent to supplier after taking approval by management.
∎ Follow up the Shipment status as per plan.
∎ Liaison with Factory team to maintain full supply chain's smooth operation.
∎ Procurement of material as per the Planning & Production schedule.
∎ Co-ordinate and arrange on time delivery of raw materials and other spare parts & machinery.
∎ Developing and handling vendors & cost negotiations, maintaining supplier data base & integration.
∎ Responsible for planning, developing and buying materials, parts, supplies and equipment's in a timely and cost effective way while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications.
∎ Excellent negotiation & dealing skills with international & local suppliers & contractors.
∎ Having sound knowledge of commercial, import/ export related Banking, clearing & forwarding, customs audit, bond rules & regulations etc.
∎ Handle Customs, Bond, Back to Back L/C, Different banking issue etc.
∎ IRC, ERC renewal, seeking permission from different Govt. organization/offices like Customs, Board of investment, Controller of Import & Export. EPB, Department of Environment. Also with DCCI , different business association.
∎ Preparation of forecasting to determine the future demand and keeping constant material level.
∎ Responsible for sourcing, selection, negotiation and purchase materials from vendors.
∎ Coordinate with suppliers for smooth delivery of goods and services.
∎ Performing any other work assigned by Top Management.
∎ Job Location: Banani, Dhaka.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 6 years working experience in commercial or supply chain work in any export oriented organization.
∎ Must have experience in supply chain or commercial activities.
∎ Excellent verbal and sound written correspondence in English.
∎ Ability of work independently and with self responsibility.
∎ Used to work in MS-Word and Excel.
