Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyzing data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends regarding the product and category
∎ Developing an exit strategy for unsuccessful products
∎ Building and driving relationships with key vendors to improve pricing and quality of services.
∎ Frequent Visit in Market for create new supplier, compare price with competitors organization & achieve competitive price.
∎ Placing appropriate orders & ensure product availability meets demand.
∎ Leading category management projects to optimize ranges and related merchandising
∎ Collaborating with supplier to expand product categories & variation.
∎ Creating forecasts for product demand to ensure sustainability of inventory ageing.
∎ Developing strong working relationships with Sales & marketing teams.
∎ Initiate to ensure right product assortment through increasing margins & profitable pricing strategy in targeted category range.
∎ Issuing & authorizing purchase order & bills submission to accounts and follow up for payment.
∎ Analyzing price change quotations & coordinate with group SCM for implement.
∎ Ensure on time delivery of products along with products availability and maintain optimum stock levels with proper demand planning.
∎ Close monitoring item to item in-depth sales, ensuring proper display, & merchandising as per layout plan to enhance category visibility that meets customer needs with full-filling financial objectives.
∎ Negotiate with vendors & suppliers to increase margins through more profitable pricing strategy & volume target to execute precision merchandising with comprehensive clustering, space planning, and assortment management capabilities.
∎ Drive more effective promotions for increased sales and profits with combined advanced demand forecasting promotion execution to meet financial goals.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 26 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The Incumbent must demonstrate a strong understanding for the assigned local spend categories, supplier landscape and purchase order management.
∎ Good interpersonal and communication skill.
∎ Team Player & Problem solving skills.
∎ Computer Literacy is must (MS word, Excel). Experience in ERP is an added advantage.
