Educational Requirements:
∎ MBBS from BMDC recognized institutions with Post Graduate degree in Neurosurgery with MS/FCPS or its equivalent recognized by BMDC.
∎ Minimum 03 years working experience as Assistant Professor/Jr. Consultant in Neurosurgery Department at any reputed hospital/institute.
∎ Minimum 05 scientific publications in Medical Journals recognized by academic council of BSMMU/BMDC on which minimum 02 scientific publications within 02 years of application and minimum 02 scientific publications as 1st author.
∎ Candidates having working experience as head of Neurosurgery Department may be preferred.

∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Should lead the Neurosurgery team to achieve the goal of the organization and be under direct guidance of CEO or any other competent authority. Responsible for providing care to the patients admitted under him/her. He/She would supervise and monitor the works of doctors, nurses and other staff of Neurosurgery Department and guide them to perform as per protocol. He/She should perform any other task as assigned by competent authority.
∎ Essential Functions:
∎ Should provide Consultancy in OPD
∎ Perform all surgical procedure.
∎ Should see all ICU patients and admitted patients.
∎ Looking after post surgical patients in cabins, ward, HDU & ICU
∎ Supervise/monitor the admission notes, progress notes (SOAP format), discharge summaries of all patients.
∎ In case of any emergency (worsening of clinical condition of a patient) in ward, cabin, HDU, ICU etc. patient should be evaluated and do the needful.
∎ Regular rounds as per requirement.
∎ Duties on call as per demand.
∎ Works and manages patients with utmost care and diligence
∎ Participate actively in the CME programs arranged by the hospital.
∎ Develop excellent interpersonal skills and raports with all peers' involved-all doctors, patients and nursing staffs.
∎ Participate in academic activities.
∎ Carry out tasks as head of the department as per requirement of the hospital.
∎ Carry out any other tasks as assigned by competent authority.

∎ Attendance to patients as and when needed.
∎ Participation at CME meeting.
∎ Taking care to enhance knowledge and skills of doctors, nurses and other staffs of the department.
