∎ We collaborate with governments and other partner organizations to deliver positive outcomes for children at scale. Room to Read has benefited more than 39 million children and has worked in 24 countries and in more than 192,000 communities, providing additional support through remote solutions that facilitate learning beyond the classroom. ∎ Since 2009 in Bangladesh, Room to Read has been implementing education support Programs in low-income and remote communities in Cox’s Bazar, Dhaka, Moulvibazar, Narail, Natore and Jhalakathi districts. Till 2023, we have supported the education of more than 0.4 million children in Primary and 7,386 girls in Secondary schools. We are proud to have worked with DPE, NCTB, NAPE, DSHE, a2i as well as national radio and TV in executing scalable and systemic initiatives to eradicate illiteracy and embed life-skills.
∎ UN World Food Programme (WFP) has entrusted Room to Read to implement a 5-year literacy intervention titled ‘McGovern-Dole International Food for Education and Child Nutrition Program’ funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for over 31 thousand students of 149 Government Primary Schools in Madhabpur, Habiganj. As the education technical partner Room to Read Bangladesh will deliver interventions to enhance students’ literacy skills from Pre-Primary up to Grade 5.
∎ The Associate, Administration position will assist Officer, Administration in district level in carrying out all Administrative related activities. The position will provide general help as and when required by members of Room to Read Field Office. This position will report to the Officer, Administration.
