Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Maintain accurate and secure academic records for all students in compliance with university policies and applicable regulations.
∎ Ensure timely updates to the student information system regarding grades, enrollment status, and other academic data.
∎ Oversee the student registration process, including course enrollment, drop/add requests, and withdrawals.
∎ Provide guidance and support to students regarding registration policies, deadlines, and academic procedures.
∎ Assist in implementing and enforcing university policies related to academic records, student status, and degree requirements.
∎ Ensure adherence to accreditation standards and other regulatory requirements.
∎ Serve as a liaison between the Registrar’s Office and academic departments, faculty, and students.
∎ Manage day-to-day operations of the Registrar’s Office, ensuring efficient workflows and customer service.
∎ Supervise clerical staff or student workers, assign tasks and monitor performance.
∎ Stay informed about changes in higher education regulations and best practices in academic administration.
∎ Assist the Registrar with special projects and initiatives as needed.
∎ Perform other responsibilities assigned to meet the evolving needs of the university.
