Educational Requirements:
∎ MBBS with Post Graduate degree in Cardiology (MD/FCPS) or its equivalent recognized by BMDC.
∎ Candidates having experience in CCU/Cath lab/Echo/ETT may be preferred.
∎ At least 03 scientific publications recognized by BMDC/Academic Council of BSMMU.

∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Directly responsible for the patients assigned to the incumbent by the Head of the Department/Sr. Consultant, Consultant under whom he/she will be placed and manage patients as per therapeutic and other policies set up by the Head of Cardiology Department. He/She needs to look after patients in critical care unit. The incumbent will need to work in rotating shift that will include working in night following a roster as approved by the Head of the Department.
∎ Essential Functions:
∎ 1. Attend to promptly to the patients in hospital as assigned.
∎ 2. Attend to OPD/Emergency patients as assigned
∎ 3. Work and manage patients with utmost care and diligence.
∎ 4. Actively attend ECHO room, ETT, Holter Lab and Cath Lab
∎ 5. Participate actively in the CME programs and academic activities arranged by the hospital.
∎ 6. Develop excellent interpersonal skills and rapports with peers, patients and nursing staffs.
∎ 7. Carry out any other job assigned by the Head of the Department/Senior Consultant/Consultant or any other competent authority
∎ 8. Supervise and control the duties of junior doctors assigned to him/her

∎ 3. Participation at academic meeting (Clinical/CME programs).
∎ 4. Enhancing clinical and non - invasive knowledge and skills.
∎ 5. Record of prompt and timely attendance to patients.
∎ 6. Dealing with cardiac emergencies.
