∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Bachelor's in Logistics/Transportation (Master's preferred).
∎ 5+ years' experience in transport management/logistics.
∎ Proven track record of optimizing transport operations.
∎ Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication & leadership skills.
∎ Proficient in relevant software (e.g., fleet management).
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the management of the organization's fleet of vehicles.
∎ Ensure that all vehicles are well-maintained, serviced, and meet safety standards.
∎ Keeping records of vehicle-related documents like registration, route permit, tax token, insurance, etc.
∎ Schedule and coordinate regular maintenance and repairs. Monitor and control transportation costs, including fuel, maintenance, and personnel expenses·
∎ Coordinate the other departments & maintain good relationships with local Govt. Agencies.
∎ Supervise and monitor all the drivers’ activities and evaluate their work performance one to one basis.
∎ Preparation of Transport Section budget and related activities.
∎ Prepare duty roster for all the Transport Associates and assign duties as per business requirement.
∎ Plan and optimize transportation routes to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods or transportation of personnel.
∎ Keeps himself aware of the city situation on political or any other natural calamities and consult with Department Head whether a vehicle can be sent out of the premises under the circumstances.
∎ Any other tasks given by The Management as and when required.
