Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 8 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): shipping agency, Shipping Industry Preferable, Shipping Operation

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise daily activities of agency & operations activities;
∎ Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company's plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates;
∎ Organize work flow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks;
∎ Monitor & supervise employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching;
∎ Monitor & Ensure Proper filing Custom inward / outward documentations;
∎ Make sure IGM submitting is done duly using custom online system;
∎ Ensure that Port declaration, document exchange, port gate pass, Car pass, Fresh water supply and supervision in timely manner;
∎ Attend berthing meeting and berthing update efficiently way and manner;
∎ Post fixing and prefixing activities;
∎ Maintaining MMD documentation and clearance;
∎ Supervising the Handling of port clearance / NOC issuance / Income tax documentation;
∎ Administrate the Shipping office documentation and obtaining clearance;
∎ Overseeing the Tax office attendance along with CNF agent;
∎ Take charge of Tax office documentation (Export Cargo);
∎ Freight calculation & voyage estimation;
∎ Collection of Daily Report and preparation of SOF accordingly;
∎ Receiving and attending vessel arrival at Kutubdia and or outer anchorage;
∎ Communication with lighter vessel and cargo receiver for safe & quick discharge operation;
∎ Ex-change of email and calculation of port dues;
∎ Preparing mate's receipt, bill of lading & cargo related documents;
∎ Issuing delivery order, receiving LOI;
∎ Any duties assigned by respective superior.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 5 years of experience in shipping agency & operations;
∎ Proven experience as supervisor in shipping agency & operations;
∎ Familiarity with company policies and legal guidelines of shipping agency & operations;
∎ Ability to learn a variety of job descriptions in shipping agency & operations;
∎ Ability to work under pressure;
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
∎ Outstanding organizational and leadership skills;
∎ Knowledge of MS Office Suit is must (MS Word, MS Excel), specially typing speed at least 20-25 words per minute (Both Bangla and English);
∎ Having efficient / extraordinary idea in ship handling independently as agent;
∎ Having good relation with port, custom and other related officials for smooth ship handling.
