Job Context:
∎ Job Context: A leading Group of Companies having seven business units all over Bangladesh is currently looking for Assistant Manager, Safety & Security.
∎ This position will report to Manager, Safety & Security of the organization. The "Assistant Manager, Safety & Security" position requires to organize and oversee security operations of different work units and premises. The incumbent will maintain security standards while commanding the security personnel. He has to demonstrate excellent surveillance and emergency response skills. The candidate needs to have a strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats. Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist to monitor and control all offices security situation and determine the risk rating through risk assessments related to safety & security of all offices and establishments.
∎ Coordinate the site administration to implement security policies, regulations, rules, and norms and make sure that the implementation of security protocols.
∎ Regular visit of establishment of assigned areas as per weekly plan and also monitor other officials visit.
∎ Functionally lead and manage the security appointed focal point at the official programs and any corporate events.
∎ Develop effective contingency and response plans to mitigate the impact of any critical security incident of this organization.
∎ Ensure the operational priorities such as fire safety, avoid theft, risk mitigation in all business concern of this organization.
∎ Assist in analyzing and evaluating security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement through audit, review, or assessment.
∎ Develop or manage investigation programs, including collection and preservation of video and notes of surveillance processes or investigative interviews.
∎ Investigate incidents and resolve issues, prepare reports for management on security status.
∎ Manage staffing activities, on time recruitment and deployment of security guards, background investigation, assign work, evaluate performance and ensure discipline of the department.
∎ Ensure training to all departmental staffs and provide security briefings periodically.
∎ Develop appropriate policies, plans, protocols and guidelines for the security management of this organization.
∎ Conduct the fire safety drill periodically.
∎ Prepare various report for the safety & security department.
∎ Prepare annual budget of safety & security department.
∎ Prepare annual training calendar of safety & security department.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 4 to 6 years' relevant experience in Safety & Security department in a reputed organization.
∎ Good communication & interpersonal skills.
∎ Good knowledge on security management and hazards.
∎ Must need to have investigation report or any kind of relevant report writing skills.
∎ Excellent writing skills both in English & Bangla.
∎ Strong analytical skills & very proactive in nature.
∎ Command & control.
∎ Leadership skills.
∎ Physically fit.
